MORE ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

+ Where does the money go?

1. We are not a fund raising organization. Our mission is to raise awareness of the atrocities being suffered by our Christian brothers and sisters and to raise them in prayer, locally and nationally.

2. The donations for ribbons and wristbands go to purchasing the materials used to make the ribbon assemblies, buy wristbands, starter kits and information packets. Donations also cover shipping, packing, supplies, postage, and free handouts materials.

3. Any revenue above operating expenses goes directly to families of persecuted Christians.

+ Why the color orange?

We chose the color of orange because it is the color of the jumpsuits worn by the executed Christians. If we get enough people behind the movement wearing orange ribbons or wristband, our leaders will notice and finally stand up and take bold action to help relieve the persecution and suffering.

+ Why did we start Operation Orange Ribbon?

Many people are frustrated about current events and feel helpless. They want to do something but don’t know what to do, or how to do it. This program gives them an opportunity to actually do something and influence others by wearing the ribbon. When we started, many people said “It’s about time someone did something”. It may seem like a small effort, but we have tens of thousands of people, in many churches around the United States, helping to spread the message of Operation Orange Ribbon, and praying specifically for our Christian brothers and sisters who are facing persecution every day.
